This year, the Boston Carmen’s Union will be celebrating you – our members. This video, “Black History: History in Motion,” is the first in a series of web videos that will highlight the extraordinary efforts of our diverse and inclusive workforce.

While we cannot celebrate Black History at an in-person event this year, we are honored to shine a light on those who have made the program at the Cabot Garage a reality for the past three decades. We are also proud to have the most diverse representative body in Local 589’s history.

While our union strives to be a voice of fairness and equality for all, we’d like to honor Black History month by acknowledging the black excellence that exists in our local. Enjoy!
