Transit Bus Drivers (present or past) with a CDL and a P endorsement are invited to participate in an important study sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

This study is being conducted by a team of human factors professionals from the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center in Cambridge, MA. It will take approximately one and a half hours and participants will be given a $100.00 gift certificate to Amazon.com for your time. The study will take place at the Realtime Technology Inc. (RTI) Vehicle Simulator in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA (free parking provided).

This study will require volunteer drivers to operate a vehicle simulator. Volunteers will perform a series of typical bus operation tasks. A video recording will be made of every session to ensure that all data is accurately captured. However, the video recordings will not be shared in any way, and all videos will be deleted once they have been analyzed. Participation in the study is entirely confidential.
