Toy and Clothing Drive for Children

The Boston Carmen’s Union Local 589 is partnering with the MBTA and Radio 92.9 to ask riders and the general public to “fill a bus” with new toys and clothes for local children in need.
The “Fill-A-Bus” drive MBTA bus is parked at JFK Station each day through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Or, drop off toys and clothes at these locations between the hours of 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.:
- Wednesday, Dec 16 at Government Center
- Thursday, Dec 17 at Harvard Square Station
- Friday, Dec 18 at Charles/MGH Station
The Fill-A-Bus campaign benefits Boston area charities, including the Freedom House, Roxbury Multi-Service Center, Yawkey Boys & Girls Club of Boston, and Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
Local 589 is involved in several holiday charity campaigns including a Toys for Troops campaign to support the men and women serving in the armed forces by assisting their families over the Holiday season.
