Thank You For a Great 2022!

2022 has been a huge year of progress for Massachusetts public transit, and Local 589 was right at the forefront. In the past year, our union:
- Helped create a Green Line Extension to make our communities more connected.
- Fought for the Fair Share Amendment and won, investing in our communities and public transit.
- Elected bold new leaders, like Governor Maura Healey and State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, who will make public transit and our workers a top priority.
- Also elected a strong slate of union leaders who will go to the mat for our members.
- And much more!
None of this would have been possible without your hard work and dedication. We’re grateful for everything you do to keep Boston and Massachusetts moving, and we’re excited for an even brighter 2023!
