Thousands of firefighters from the across the country are expected to take part in this Thursday’s funeral for Firefighter Jon D. Davies Sr., the Worcester firefighter who died in an Arlington Street blaze last week.  The Boston Carmen’s Union, Local 589 is proud, along with MBTA transit officials, to be coordinating transportation for firefighters traveling to the funeral from across the state.
