It was standing room only as over 650 members packed Florian Hall on Sunday morning to review the Arbitrator’s Award and ask questions.

Local 589’s executive board and chief negotiator, Tom Roth, presented the details of the Arbitrator’s Award for the Boston Carmen’s Union contract.

The contract award covers 4-years (June 2010 to June 2014) and was released on August 26th. MBTA management has 30 days to accept the award or appeal the Arbitrator’s decision to a court. See the post of Arbitrator’s Award on August 26th for a summary of the decision.
