Just a reminder that today, April 30th, is Election Day in Massachusetts. Polls will be open until 8:00pm. Click here if you are not sure where to vote.

The Boston Carmen’s Union Local 589 has endorsed former Iron Workers Local 7 President and current Congressman Stephen Lynch for U.S. Senate in the Democratic Primary.  Your vote will help elect a Union Member to the U.S. Senate to stand up for us.

If you live in the 1st Suffolk State Senate District – Dorchester, Mattapan, South Boston and Hyde Park – April 30th is also the Democratic Primary for Jack Hart’s State Senate seat. Local 589 has endorsed Nick Collins for State Senate.

Nick Collins has earned Local 589 members’ vote by being the ONLY candidate in this race to vote against the Transportation Reform Law that took away our right to bargain over health insurance. And Nick Collins sponsored the successful bill to restore our collective bargaining rights for health care.

Please remember to vote today, April 30th, and please support Stephen Lynch for US Senate and Nick Collins for State Senate.
