RALLY: Fight for a Fair Economy
April 12, 2011
Mobilize to Restore the American Dream and a Fair Economy for Working Families
Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 4 pm
Location: 125 High Street, Financial District in Boston, (High St @ Oliver St) *
Big bank executives, CEO fat cats, and the super-wealthy have been enjoying tax breaks, rising profits, government subsidies, and golden parachute payouts. Meanwhile, workers continue to struggle with unemployment and cuts to basic community services for our families and children. It’s time for corporate CEOs and the super-wealthy to start paying America back by creating good jobs and paying their fair share for public services. Together with unions and community groups from across Greater Boston, we will rally in support of the American Dream – including good jobs, funding for community services, and the right of all workers to organize for a voice at work.
Unions wishing to co-sponsor contact Rich Rogers at the GBLC at 617-723-2370 or rrogers@gblc.us.
