Dear Union Brothers & Sisters,

Just wanted to take a moment to recognize ANOTHER outstanding job done by Local 589/MBTA employees in regards to the problems this morning on the Redline.

Often our days are filled with trying and sometimes difficult circumstances, but you always rise to the occasion.

During those times you should be recognized and praised, especially in light of those moments where people inside and outside of the T may take shots at us for circumstances beyond our control.

Well let me be one of the first to say THANK YOU for your fine, professional and commendable actions on this difficult day!

To Maria , Larry, Marianne, Phil and all the other motor-persons, train attendants, CSA’s and officials whose day was disrupted yet stepped up as needed, job well done and thank you!
