Dear Local 589 Member:

This email is an important reminder that tomorrow, Thursday September 6th is Election Day in Massachusetts. Because this is an unusual day for an election voter turnout will be low – so your vote will count even more!

Polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM.

You should have recently received our Union’s list of endorsed candidates in our latest newsletter. I hope you will seriously consider voting for Local 589 endorsed candidates because your vote will make a difference.

Local 589 has endorsed candidates from the U.S. Congress to State Senate, State Representative, Governor’s Council and County offices. Every one of these elected officials has an impact on our jobs. We need to elect candidates who support public transportation and our rights as workers.
