Transit Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of spitting on an MBTA bus driver in Malden.

Investigators say the incident happened on a Route 426 bus just before 11:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Lynn and Wesley streets.

The suspect is described as a white woman between the ages of 20 and 25 who is approximately 5’6″ tall. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black t-shirt, gray pants, and black sneakers with white soles. She was also carrying a light brown satchel.

Anyone with information is asked to call Transit Police at 617-222-1050. Tips can be made anonymously by texting 873873 or under the anonymous feature on the MBTA’s SeeSay app.
