Our union sisters and brothers at OPEIU Local 6 who serve our banking needs at the Mass Bay Credit Union need our help.

They are fighting for a fair and just contract and have worked very hard for the past year to negotiate fairly and in good faith. However, Credit Union management have shown little interest in treating them fairly or with respect.

Please give Mass Bay Credit Union President and CEO Theresa Dorilas a call at 617-269-2700 ext. 3600 and send her an email at tdorilas@massbaycu.org AND memberservices@massbaycu.org and tell her one or all of the following:

• Tell her this is YOUR credit union, you know that the union worked with Mass Bay CU in good faith, and that the workers deserve to be treated and compensated fairly.
• Tell her NO to forced Saturdays for senior workers, offering a ZERO percent wage increase for the past 18 months, increasing health insurance costs, canceling retiree life insurance, and decreasing the amount they contribute to workers 401ks.
• Tell her to say YES to a FAIR economic package that not only covers the increase due to inflation, but yes to one that ALSO covers the increased insurance costs.
