Mass. AFL-CIO Educational & Political Conference

The Boston Carmen’s Union Local 589 Executive Board participated in the 3-day Massachusetts AFL-CIO Gompers-Murray-Meany Educational Conference held from May 22nd-24th.The annual conference provides workshops on current Labor issues, speakers such as State Treasurer Steve Grossman and Attorney General Martha Coakley with special guest speaker US Senate candidate Ed Markey.
Markey took time to meet with the Local 589 Executive Board and talk transportation funding.
