Local 589 members and retirees are invited to join fellow union members from across the region as we participate in the 2026 Greater Boston Labor Council Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 7.

The annual parade is a proud tradition that celebrates the achievements of working people and demonstrates the unity of organized labor throughout Greater Boston.

Schedule

• 8:00 a.m. – Assemble at Boston Common
• 10:00 a.m. – Parade begins and marches to Copley Square
• 12:00 p.m. – Free BBQ lunch at Copley Square
