Brothers and Sisters,

I want to take this time to thank Janet Gerhard and FHE Health for all the information shared at yesterday’s mental health seminar.

Thank you to Local 589 President Jim Evers and the entire Executive Board for getting behind this seminar and understanding the importance of mental health in the workplace.

Most of all, thank you to the members who attended the seminar and interacted with Janet about stress and other issues the operators deal with on a daily basis.

Special thanks to Tony Raymond who spoke and opened up about his life, which is a story that should be heard and embraced everywhere there is a seminar.

It is up to each of us to watch over and protect each other and I believe this was a great start at bringing mental health to the forefront.
