We’re excited to share that Local 589 has officially launched its mentorship program, with visits this week to the Cabot, Charlestown, and Bennett bus garages.

This initiative is focused on connecting experienced members with those new to our ranks to share knowledge, build skills, and strengthen our union.

In the coming weeks, we will begin reaching out to prospective mentors. If you are interested in participating, we encourage you to keep an eye out for more details.

We also want to thank Jamaine Gibson and Eliseo Acosta from ATU International for joining us and helping get this program off the ground, as well as everyone who took the time to meet with us.
