Today, Local 589 President Jim Evers was sworn in as a member of Governor Healey’s Labor Advisory Council. This group, comprised of leaders from all across organized labor, is the first such council to advise a Massachusetts Governor in decades. President Evers will provide his thoughts on transportation issues and more. Our Local is excited to partner with the Healey Administration to work collaboratively to address the issues important to working families all across the Commonwealth.
