Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Yesterday, we had our first meeting with an arbitrator to ask for an emergency injunction to stop how the MBTA conducts roster picking. We had two full days of testimony this week and may meet again in the future.

We understand the implementation of roster picking and the delayed rollout of BidWeb have been an immense source of frustration for our membership over the past few years. That is why we have chosen to take action.

Since this is an ongoing legal matter, we are precluded from speaking about deliberations at this time, but we will keep you posted as best we can. In the meantime, be well, stay safe, and thank you for keeping Massachusetts moving.
