On September 13, 2012, the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office along with the MBTA and the 589 Executive Board recognized the following bus operators who volunteered their time and skills to assist the Sheriff’s Office in their most difficult time of need. 

The following bus operators provided transportation for hundreds of local and state law enforcement officers so that they could attend the funeral service for their fallen brother Deputy Sheriff Ryan Tvelia.  We would like to thank the following operators:
