Mark your calendars for Local 589’s Final Election on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Boston Teachers Union Hall (180 Mt. Vernon Street Dorchester, MA 02125). Attached is a sample ballot.

New hires who filled out the necessary paperwork to join the union can also vote.

Good luck to all the candidates. Let’s not only get ourselves to the polls, but tell our union brothers and sisters to do the same. An engaged union is a strong union and you cannot complain if you do not vote.
