Earlier today, our Executive Board visited the MBTA Operations Control Center to meet with our dedicated bus and light rail dispatchers and stopped by Downtown Crossing to connect with our hardworking Fare Engagement team.

These visits are part of our ongoing effort to stay connected with the members who keep Boston moving—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether in the control room or out on the streets, our members play a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable public transit for riders across the city.

We’re always proud to stand with the men and women of Local 589 who keep the MBTA running strong.
