Yesterday, the Executive Board of Local 589 toured three buses at the ATU’s Can-Am conference. Each of these buses has been retrofitted with a prototype featuring new operator shields, improved HVAC systems for better airflow, and provisions for a redesigned driver’s area to provide greater comfort and visibility. The ATU is leading the way in creating the bus of the future so that our members and passengers can benefit from a safer bus experience. #UnionStrong #MovingForwardTogether
