The following people have been awarded the 2017 Boston Carmen’s Union Scholarships for $2,000:
- JuliAnna Picardi: She is the daughter of Brother Timothy Picardi who is a Repairer at the Cabot Shops.
- Glenn Healy: He is the son of Brother Paul Healy who is a Bus Operator of the Quincy Garage.
- Matthew Hirl: He is the son of Brother Donald Hirl who is a Repair Foreman of the Reservoir Carhouse.
- Stacia Foresta: She is the daughter of Brother Stephen Foresta who is a Repairer at the Orient Heights Shops.
- Meaghan Lydon: She is the granddaughter of the Brother Patrick Logue who is a Retiree of the Cabot Shop.
- Justin Crowley: He is the grandson of Brother James Crowley who is a Retiree of the Orange Line.
We would like to offer our congratulations on the dedication and hard work that they have exhibited throughout their high school years and we wish them the very best in their college pursuits.
