Today we celebrated the storied career of 50+ year member Thomas Connolly.

Tom, who wrapped up his career with the MBTA last fall, was an icon of the Bennett/North Cambridge district and spent much of his career operating early morning trackless trolley trips on the 71, 72 and 73 routes out of Harvard Square.

His passion for what we do, and his dedicated service to our communities, are worthy of recognition. With the dedication of a new bench in the Bennett Alley, bus operators for generations to come will have a place to reflect on the legendary career of Tom Connolly.
