Boston Carmen’s Union Local 589 members joined Machinists Union members at a Sunday rally in Norwood to protest the lack of a contract at Boch Motors. Workers at Boch Motors voted over a year ago to become members of the IAM and to date Boch management has stalled negotiations over the workers’ first contract.

Hundreds of Greater Boston area Union members came out to support the IAM in its fight to get a first contract at Boch Motors. Weather was mild for the Sunday afternoon rally that saw 4th Congressional District candidate Joe Kennedy join the workers on the picket line and speak at the rally.
