Today, Barn Captains from across Local 589 participated in a full-day training focused on strengthening how we represent and advocate for our members. The program covered the grievance process, arbitration, workers’ compensation, substance-use treatment resources, supplemental insurance benefits, political advocacy, and more. A well-trained, informed team of stewards ensures strong representation and better outcomes for every Local 589 member. We are stronger together.
