We were in talks with management throughout the day yesterday until late in the evening and have received a commitment from the MBTA to continue negotiating next week over the previously mentioned retirement matters.

We have made progress even as recently as late yesterday to mitigate the impact of recent arbitration proceedings, but our efforts continue. We have a long way to go, and no terms are finalized until negotiations conclude.

As always, we are going to continue advocating for an MBTA that is strong for our riders, workers, retirees, and communities. More information will follow as negotiations proceed.
