The ATU’s international scholarship applications are now available for the 2017 academic year. Please note the deadline for the application is January 31, 2017.

The 2017 ATU scholarship is in remembrance of retired IVP Arthur Burke, who passed away on January 27, 2015 and retired IVP Angus MacFarlane, who passed away on October 19, 2013. This year, the program consists of five, $8,000 scholarships. In addition, a $2,000 scholarship may be awarded to a vocational school applicant.

Applicants must be either of the following:

• A member of Local 589 and ATU in good standing.
• The child (whether natural or legally adopted) or stepchild of a member or deceased member in good standing.
• A grandchild (whether natural or legally adopted) of a member in good standing.

Applicants must be high school seniors planning to enter college (or technical or vocational school) for the first time following graduation, or previous high school graduates that have never attended college.
