Last Thursday, Mass. AFL-CIO President Steve Tolman joined the Boston Carmen’s Union’s Assistant Secretary, Peggy LaPaglia, and Shops + Carhouse Delegate, Michael Keller, for an awards banquet at IBEW Local 103 with the Local 589’s 2013 Scholarship Winners.  All winners were given $1,000.00 to put toward college.  Local 589’s Executive Board would like to offer our congratulations on the dedication and hard work that all the winners exhibited throughout their high school years and we wish them the very best in their college pursuits.
